Name:

Aughacasla

Beach description:

When a NW winter swell gets too big for Brandon Bay, here’s an interesting alternative. Although flat for most of the year, Aughacasla can offer a clean reef-break generating soft chest-high waves – ideal for developing your wave skills, although it only works for three hours around high tide. Majestic views of the mountains.

Beach Access

Located on the Dingle peninsula. From Tralee west on N86. Before Camp onto R559 and follow signs to Aughacasla.
