Troon South Beach

Troon is around 45 minutes from Glasgow, and just 15 minutes from Europe’s biggest wind farm. That has to be a good sign! It’s actually 2 beaches separated by a marina: This one, South Beach, and North (Barassie) Beach.
Either beach at Troon are great spot for beginners but South Beach provides better protection from the waves, providing flatter water for learning or tricks.
South Beach will work on anything from S around to NNW. SW winds tend to bring the best waves.
