The Gare is a lagoon, situated at the North end of Majuba beach, Redcar. It’s sheltered by a reef, which protects it from the waves especially at lower tide states, making it a great flat water shredding venue. The Gare will work on anything from N clockwise around to S. Easterly is on-shore. If the wind swings round to a westerly direction, your best bet is Paddy’s Hole, just down the road.
