Beach description:
Newborough is situated on the South West Coast of the island of Anglesey, North Wales. It’s a beautiful unspoiled spot featuring miles of golden sand, backed by sand dunes. Kitesurfing is in the Llanddwyn Bay. Newborough Beach will work on anything from SE around to W. Westerlies tend to be gusty.
Beach Access
Parking is at the Forestry Commission car park. Parking costs £3. From the village of Newborough, take the minor road down to the beach car park.
Code of Conduct
Kitesurfers can only set up on the left hand side of the beach (looking out to sea). Turn left when you come through the sand dunes to set up and you'll be OK.

Water Type
Expect flat water, chop and waves. A bit of something for everyone. Newborough can be sailed on any state of tide.
Hazards
Mussel beds - these will cut your bare feet, best to wear boots here. Overcrowding, this is a very popular spot. The wind. Take careful note of what size other kitesurfers are using. The wind comes in sets and may end up much stronger than when you set up.
