Mexicos is one of 3 breaks in the stunning St Ives Bay. It’s named after a pub of the same name that used to be there, but is no more. Situated between Hayle Towans and Upton Towans, the beach is backed by enormous sand dunes, known as ‘towans’.
The walk back up the sand dunes from beach to carpark can be a killer, so be sure to take the right kit down to the beach with you, or you’ll be swearing!
The Bluff will work on anything from W to NE. NW is onshore. Pure W is gusty.
