Beach description:

Magheroarty is a clean long curvy beach. At the south end, Northerly wind is onshore and at the north end Westerly is onshore. The main bay is definitely one of the most magical places to kite in the world, the classic SW cross offshore wave days are amazing. The lagoon/tidal bay can be kited between half and full tide. Its so shallow you can go in any direction but the best is South or South-West as its technically onshore to the launch spot.

Beach Access

Lagoon/Tidal Bay - Just drive past the harbour and park somewhere near the water. I usually go in just past the three old fishing boats. There is loads of grass to rig up on.
