A long beautiful curved beach that occasionally also hosts kitesurfing competitions. Several spots for different wind directions from Mossies and Dumps (N or S cross shore winds) to Stoney Gap (NNE and SSW sideshore winds), Stradbally (wave riding in sideoffshore S to SW), Gowlane, Kilcummin (sideshore in WSW and ENE) and finally Fermoyle (N offshore for flat water).
