Allonby Beach
active 6 years, 1 month agoThe beach at Allonby Bay is long and made up of sand/shingle, with great views of the mountains in Southern Scotland and the Lake District fells across the Solway Firth, with the Isle of Man being visible on a good day.
With shallow waters, an open bay and the beach stretching for around 5 miles it is a popular spot for kitesurfing.
Allonby Beach will work on anything from SW around to N.
